Feature 1

The Community Supported Fishery is an alternative business model for the South Australian commercial fishing industry. The CSF is designed to optimise the supply chain from ocean to plate and allow fishermen to target species sustainably and economically. Margo Consulting administered the project that comprised a four-stage feasibility study, a twelve month trial involving 13 of Adelaide’s top restaurants and the development of bespoke software to allow real time communications with consumers.

Feature 2

Margo Consulting provides professional services to Southern Rocklobster Limited (SRL) as the company's Executive Officer. SRL is the peak body for commercial lobster fishers and exporters in South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania. Under an Industry Partnership Agreement with the Commonwealth's Fisheries Research & Development Corporation, Margo Consulting facilitates:

• Southern Rock Lobster (jasus edwardsii) research, development and extension projects.

• A corporate structure, resources and processes for the company.

• Engagement with lobster processors and exporters.

• Communication and extension of research outputs.

Feature 3

Margo Consulting provides Executive Officer services to the Victorian Strawberry Industry Development Committee. The Committee’s role is to collect and administer a State levy that funds projects to fulfil the industry’s research and development needs. The Committee is represented by growers, industry participants and the Victorian Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources.
